Published the Python SDK and CLI (pip install papertype) and the MCP server (npx -y papertype-mcp, listed in the official MCP registry as dev.papertype/papertype-mcp); source on GitHub under papertype-dev.
Renamed: DocPress is now PaperType (papertype.dev). The old name collided with an unrelated package on PyPI and npm and with prior US trademark filings. docpress.dev redirects here; existing API keys, documents and webhooks keep working.
Support email is now read by the operator as well as forwarded (every message gets an answer).

Public launch at papertype.dev (payments open after the 48-hour compliance window).
Hosted templates: invoice, certificate, report via the API ({"template": ..., "data": ...}) and sample PDFs on each template page.
Redesigned cover pages for the report and clean themes.
Markdown → PDF studio: numbered headings, computed table of contents, running headers, themes, $5 clean export (no account needed).
Python SDK and CLI finished (publishing to PyPI pending).
Fixed: Stripe webhook handler returned 500 on delivery; now verified with a signed replay test.
Hosted templates now reject requests with missing required fields (HTTP 422 naming the fields) instead of rendering a blank document.
MCP server (papertype-mcp) built: render_pdf, list_templates, account tools for Claude, Cursor and other MCP clients (npm publication pending).
Status page (/status) with five-minute public probes, and this changelog.

API POST /v1/pdf (HTML or Markdown, themes, page sizes, covers, TOC, page numbers), API keys, free plan with a small page mark, monthly quotas.
